Oh the weather outside is frightful, but the fire is so delightful……

Our first snow of the season, and first snow in our new home has arrived!

View out our bedroom window this morning, after toweling the condensation off ;)

We got roughly two inches of powder snow overnight, which will hang around for a while as the next few days they’re forecasting extremely low temperatures for the area and wind chills in the 10 to 0 degree range, Brrrr!

Dawn’s happy, I’m happy, the cat is not happy, he hates snow, but he loves our electric heater :), with it near the register vent it’s kitty warming heaven, as it tends to either lay completely over the register vent, wrapped around the heater, or half on the register laying next to it.

you got more snow in that storm than we did but we got colder temps. happy to see it warm up a bit now.
have you come across any issues with the new home yet?

    1. Only issue we've discovered other than a leaking fitting on our water heater, is that she gets cold easy. We're going to be doing several insulation projects to help reduce our heat loss.

  2. I missed your post... my wifes cat steals any heat she can get as well. How is the rig doing in the winter weather?

    1. Missed this, she stays warm, but we're using an electric oil filled heater in addition to the furnace and were burning roughly a 100lbs of propane each week and a half, but she stayed up at a comfy 67 degrees :).
