Christmas Lights on the Camper and around Sauvie Island

Well, time for my annual Christmas Truck Camper pictures Smile with tongue out.  This year, I added a little more to my lights display, and decided to also tour around the area near me and take a few pictures for everyone to enjoy Smile.

First up, The Redneck Express in it’s Christmas Light Splendor:

What I call “The Schoolhouse”.  This Christmas lights were rather odd, they were purple when I took these, now they’re red….

Now, we’re down at the southern end of Gillihan Road before it turns and runs east and west along the bottom of Sauvie Island:

  2. Great pictures and good job takign them at night. Did you use a tri-pod? I bought a Canon T3i late last year and am finally getting used to it but I take crappy night shots, I need to learn how to shoot at night and also get a tri-pod me thinks.

    Have a good one Matt!

    1. Yes, all of the shots were with no flash and extended exposure, which requires a tripod to get enough stability at a 2.8 F-stop and a 1/3.2 exposure rate.

I've got some neat snow pictures that I will try to post tonight with the 2-3 backlogged entries I have sitting on my laptop where I did 4 second exposures.
